How to Master Your SPRAT Level 2

It is a big technical leap from SPRAT L1 to SPRAT L2. Now that you've had some time to get used to the basic rope access system out in the field, and how to rely on your rope access team, you may be ready to learn more difficult maneuvers and rescues.

Our SPRAT Level 2 course will help you further your knowledge and skills as a Rope Access Technician. The curriculum is based on the SPRAT Certification Requirements but our practical Level 2 course will help you to learn how to apply these skills to your work setting.

To help you master your SPRAT Level 2 course, we're working on breaking down the syllabus into small digestible parts so you can study each part of the syllabus effectively.  If you want to be notified of its completion, fill in the form below.

Our SPRAT courses include 4 days of training and an evaluation on the 5th day. Classes each day run from 8am to 4 or 4:30pm each day.

Once you've successfully completed your SPRAT L2 evaluation, your certification will be valid for 3 years. From there, you will need to re-certify again for another 3 years (do the full course again). Or, you can upgrade earlier if you have the correct hours.

Unfortunately, sometimes you may need to re-evaluate because you made a silly mistake or had a brain fart. You will need to wait for 7 days before re-evaluating again. It costs $550 to do the re-evaluation in Vancouver. For more information and how to avoid the cost, click below:

For your SPRAT Level 2, it costs $1800 to do the course in Vancouver.

I did my IRATA level 1 here and it was a fantastic experience. The facility is clean and thoughtfully laid out. Most importantly, the instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful! I love this place and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone thinking of coming here.

Big thanks to Josh and Cam for teaching a rope access newbie such as myself how to not die. Also a shout out to Don's husky, who I might dognap (shhh...)

Big thanks to the staff/team at Pacific Ropes. The office admin made everything seem less and were very helpful with questions and concerns.

The training provided by Don and Josh was legendary. They made it fun and made sure we learned proper efficient technique and challenged us throughout the week. I would recommend taking the course here and will be coming back for course refreshers or recirtifications. I won’t be looking to go anywhere else now that I have found these guys.

Pacific Ropes feels like a home away from home now!

They take the time to make sure you have a firm comprehension of the material, as well are willing to work one on one with you to make sure get anything you're struggling with. They bring a great atmosphere and a fun learning environment.

Excellent instructor, excellent facility. Would definitely recommend some research prior to attending a rope access course. Glad I chose Pacific Ropes to train with! I feel remarkably confident after 4 training days with them.
